Purpose of Job:
To carry out all sampling and analysis, using all systems in the
allocated work area, to the required standard and to the programs
defined by the client.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyse/process samples in accordance with our documented methods and
procedures
Quality compliance
Provide polite efficient service to customers and colleagues
Ongoing competency and CPD
Plan and organise own day and have the ability to provide clear
reasoning as to why workload has been organised in a particular manner
Workstation and Equipment maintained
Maintain Health and safety Standards
Hours of work :
Full time Position
Minimum Requirements:
Qualified to a degree level for a Science related topic or previous
laboratory experience.
IT Literate including the use of Microsoft Office packages
Ability to work alone unsupervised
Have an ability to read and understand and follow health and safety
instructions, written analytical methods and technical instructions
and procedures
Self motivation when working alone
Ability to organise own workload and prioritise
Ability to follow detailed written instructions / methods
Attention to detail with methodical approach to work
Ability to work in an extended team (site personnel)
Communications - impart information promptly, check understanding and
operate openly and honestly.
